"Try a little harder to be a little better." -- President Gordon B. Hinckley

Our Story

We met scorekeeping a basketball game at Glenview Park SS in the spring of 2003.  Meghan was 17 and Mike was 19.  We went out for dinner with our coach, Mike added Meghan to ICQ (haha) that night and the rest is history!  Mike moved to Oshawa in Septmeber and Meghan followed in January after graduating highschool.  We attended Durham College for a year, played basketball and explored a new city.

We were married on June 17
We had our first child, daughter Abigail Margaret Willmott Nov 19, 2005: 8lbs 1oz: 7:09pm
We had our second child, son Noah Craig Willmott Aug 18, 2007: 9lbs 6oz: 3:50pm
We had our third child, son Elias Peter Willmott Mar 4, 2010: 8lbs 4oz: 12:27am

Now we are homeowners in the town of Paris, ON.  And after 8 moves in 6 years (thank you to our families for all that heavy lifting!!) we intend to stay put for a while!!

In early 2009, we started taking lessons from the missionaries.  Mike, having grown up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was re-introducing the gospel into his life.  Meghan, was learning from scratch.  On May 31st, 2009 Meghan was baptised a member of the Church by her husband Mike!!!  This was the beginning of our LDS story!  We were sealed in the Toronto, ON temple on June 17, 2010 by Mike's grandfather Patriarch Willmott.  We are now striving daily to live worthy to maintain the Eternal Family we have established.

The gospel has blessed our lives in so many ways over the past year and a half.  We know that our Heavenly Father lives and blesses us as we live worthily.  We pray that everyone who reads this blog will seek the guidance of our Heavenly Father and feel the joy that we feel daily!!

Love from the Willmotts!!
